NYC Pet Fashion Week 2009
We just got home from NYC Pet Fashion Week. We had an amazing time. It was a small event (smaller than the past years from what I was told). But it was great because we could speak to the retailers on a personal level. It was so great to meet the designers behinds many of the brands that we love including Oscar Newman and Paris Erotica. I have been talking to owners of Oscar Newman online for a while now so it was so wonderful to finally meet them in person! The designers from Paris Erotica came all the way from Japan to come to the event! I also got to speak to the Editor of one of my favorite magazines, Fido Friendly! He was extremely nice and shared some great information with me.
Some brands which I learned about for the first time from the event were Romy and Jacob, Pepper and Tanky, Yep Yup, Mochi & Jolie , Petmell, and many more!
There were previews of the Winter and Spring lines of many of the brands. Wow!!! This is going to be a great year for dog products!!
Bebe wore her Sofia dress by Linda Higgins with her matching hat by Luna's Brat Pack and necklace from Oscar Newman and Chico and Manny wore their skull vests from Linda Higgins too. They were turning heads everywhere they went in their outfits!
I can't wait to come back again. I had lots of fun and met so many nice people. We also got to meet up with friends of ours who attended as well. It's always great to catch up with our friends from New York!
