Today we had the honor to be in the audience for The Martha Stewart Show Halloween Petacular! It was filmed in NYC.
We were so lucky to be able to go to the show filming. They had seen the pic of the dogs in their taco and sombrero costumes from G.W. Little in their photo contest and contacted us. They had originally wanted the dogs to walk in the fashion show they were filming for the show, but yesterday they decided just to use dogs owned by the staff. Luckily, they gave us tickets to be in the audience instead so at least we still got to go!
When we were standing in line outside of the studio, Martha Stewart came outside and walked around to see all the dogs. She walked up to us and pet Chico and told us how cute our tacos are! I got this pic while she was petting Chico while I was holding and she was talking to him so the pic turned out odd... but it's ok... Chico's just happy that he got pet by her!We had lots of fun and had AWESOME seats! We were front and center in the audience!Isaac Mizrahi was a guest on the show and talked with Martha about pet costumes and such. Alison Lewis was also a guest that showed how to make light up dog costumes! We received a free copy of her book Switch Craft and even got it signed by her after the show!
During the filming of the show, they came over to us and let us know that they would be panning into the dogs for the opening of one of the segments. So we had the camera set on them for a little bit. So they should be on t.v.! I'm so excited!We were really excited when Martha was giving her thank you speech to the audience after filming was over and she pointed to Chico, Manny and Bebe and said that she hopes they got lots of shots of them for the show! So it was so neat to get a shout out from Martha.Make sure to watch The Martha Stewart show on Monday, October 26th!!
