Product Review: Laughing Leash
Here is another wonderful innovative product that I found at the Global Pet Expo. It is called the Laughing Leash made by Laughing My Tail Off. It is a leash that stretches from two feet all the way up to six feet in length (although you will see in my video that I was able to get it to stretch to 80 inches, which is a little over 6.5 feet!!). Because of the stretchiness of the leash, you don't have to worry about the leash tangling or dragging. There's no need to wrap the leash around your hand to make it shorter or worry about carrying a heavy retractable leash that you have to lock in different positions.
The Laughing Leash comes in many different colors and styles to match you and your dog. You can get them in a fuzzy material, velvet material, faux suede material, and more. The colors come in bright blue, pink, camo, black, leopard, skulls, etc. So as you can tell, you have lots of choices to choose from! Here's a pic of what the fuzzy leashes look like:
The Laughing Leash also comes in different sizes. You can get an XS or a Small/Medium. We got a size XS for Manny. They make the inner coil of the XS less taut so it works better with the movement of a small pooch. The snap hook is also smaller on the XS to fit onto the d-rings of smaller collars and harnesses.
The handle of the Laughing Leash is also nicely cushioned. It feels comfortable in your hands as you hold it. I love that they use soft materials on the leash. With the fuzzy leashes, it reminds me of holding onto the material of a cuddly stuffed animal.
Another great thing about purchasing a Laughing Leash is knowing that you are helping animals in need. The Laughing Leash was inspired by their rescued dog, Bennett. Because of him, Laughing My Tail Off donates a portion of their proceeds to animal shelters and rescue organizations throughout the United States.
Check out this video showing Manny using the Laughing Leash:
We love our Laughing Leash! I think we're going to have to collect them in all different colors to match the dogs different outfits!! You can find out where to purchase a Laughing Leash at their website. You can also buy one directly from them here: http://shop.laughingmytailoff.com/

Great review. I think this might be good for some of my rescues.

This leash is dangerous for any dog who is not completely off-leash trained. The stretch factor means you cannot prevent your dog from darting out 6 1/2 feet into the street or towards a dangerous animal. This leash is only for well-trained dogs who know not to go into the street and who will listen to a "stop" or "wait" command in any situation.
