Accredited by ASE Education Foundation in the areas of instruction, course of study, facilities and equipment to meet the standards of quality for the training of Automobile technicians at the level of Maintenance and Light Repair.
Aviation Maintenance Technology
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified. One of the only FAA-certified, Part-147 school programs in the nation that can be completed in just 12 months. All full-time faculty are designated by the FAA to administer Oral and Practical exams for mechanics.
Certified Nurse Aide
State approved by the Alaska Board of Nursing and successful completion qualifies students to take the state certification exam.
Emergency Services-Fire Science
Accredited by the State of Alaska Training and Education Bureau to instruct Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Instructor I and Rapid Intervention Technician (how to rescue trapped firefighters). The State of Alaska is accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). All students who pass Firefighter I, Firefighter II and Fire Instructor I receive a certification from the State of Alaska that has an IFSAC seal. The curriculum follows the US Fire Administrations, National Fire Academy, Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) model. Students can receive internationally recognized certifications for their profession. Most states and the Department of Defense will recognize or give direct reciprocity for IFSAC fire certifications.
IT Specialist
Provides coursework that can help students prepare for industry certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Entry-level Network Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and/or Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA).
Instrumentation Technology
Prepares students to take the nationally recognized Control System Technician (CST associate) exam administered by the International Society of Automation (ISA).
Law Enforcement
Training approved by Alaska Police Standards Council.
Medical Assistant Certificate
Nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assistant Education Review Board (MAERB).
