Îçҹ̽»¨ NSF EPSCoR is awarding up to 10 individual awards of $1,500 each for domestic travel for Interface of Change project participants and partners. We will prioritize awarding student and early-career professional applicants. Please review all solicitation details thoroughly before applying.  

Applications open now - apply by 5 pm, July 11, 2025! Awards will be announced on July 21, 2025. NOTE:  All travel should be completed by November 30, 2025.  Expense reports must be submitted and paid out by December 14, 2025.

Download and complete the Îçҹ̽»¨ EPSCoR IoC Travel Award Application Form, and email it to Tara Borland at taborland@alaska.edu. The deadline to submit an application is 5 pm, July 11, 2025.

Eligibility

An eligible applicant must:

• Plan to present at an academic conference or attend a professional development training or workshop.
• Be faculty, staff, or a student at an Îçҹ̽»¨ institution of higher education.

 

Award Conditions

UA Awardees

• Awardee will work with their appropriate travel and/or procurement department and follow their internal institutional and departmental procedures.
• Awardee is responsible for obtaining prior approval prior to making travel arrangements, or incurring charges, with their institution/department.

External to UA Awardees

• Awardee will work with the UAF travel office and follow their procedures.
• Awardee is responsible for obtaining prior approval prior to making travel arrangements, or incurring charges, with the UAF travel office.

All Awardees

• Awardee will initiate related expense reports, if needed, within 15 days of trip completion.</
