Jodie Anderson has been appointed to serve as the director of the Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resource and Extension. 

Anderson is a soil scientist whose personal life has shaped her passion for the mission of a land grant university. She is the great-niece and granddaughter of two Michigan State University Cooperative Extension Service professionals.

IANRE contains the Îçҹ̽»¨ Farm Experimental Stations of Fairbanks and Palmer, Cooperative Extension Service programming areas of Home, Health and Family Development, Agriculture/Horticulture and the Mining and Petroleum Training Service.
